Alberta Child Care Subsidy

The Government of Alberta has a Child Care Subsidy program that helps offset the cost of childcare for eligible families. Subsidies are available for families with children in full-time kindergarten up to Grade 6 enrolled in a licensed childcare program.

Families with a total annual gross income under $90,000 may be eligible to apply. Subsidy rates vary based on your family income, the type of childcare program, and the number of hours your child attends each month.
